A former restaurateur at the helm
Cavit Altinkaya founded the ALTM Distribution company specializing in hairnets in Paris, France. A family-owned business, Cavit Altinkaya is responsible for production and import while his wife, Jutta Altinkaya, is in charge of customer relations able to serve clients in French, English and German.
The beginnings
It all started in 2006, with the launch of the original Mange2bout, an urban catering concept. With a loyal and new clientele, success escalated quickly. Becoming a trendy brand in the French capital, Cavit Altinkaya takes to heart exceptional hygiene standards and excellent presentation by all employees, especially those in direct contact with the public.
A dilemma emerged: combining excellent hygiene standards and an aesthetically pleasing hairnet design presentation is tricky. Traditional industrial ‘charlotte’ hairnets are often not the right size, head shape, nor can hold long hair well, not to mention lack of breathability. They also pierce easily, as the material is too fine, making it difficult for a full day’s use.
Cavit Altinkaya understands that it’s in the details that make the difference!
Looking for a solution for his restaurant that could combine hygiene and aesthetics, he developed ALTM hairnets. He, therefore, sold his business to start this company and returned to his initial import-export-trading, offering his products to wholesalers.

The manufacturing of our ATLM hairnets is based on two fundamental vital aspects. The first is using raw, natural, durable material: nylon. The second is a “honeycomb” weave, which has the particularity of being both resistant and airy for the hair. Each hairnet is wrapped individually in tissue to ensure that hygiene standards are 100% respected, guaranteeing high-quality professional products.
